Cross Road is a painting of three generations of women: the grandmother dressed in traditional attire is making yarn by hand; the mother with a heavy basket on her back is working hard to provide for her family; and the young girl is staring off to where the road leads. She seems to be contemplating at the cross road of past, present and the future.
